Many years ago, while I was in the bathroom, my mind was flooded with heavy thoughts. Life was tough, I didn’t know where the next meal would come from, and everything around me seemed to be falling apart. In the middle of that despair, the words and melody of Down On My Knees began to rise in my heart. That season became a time of deep prayer for me. My hope was rekindled, and I knew that even if it tarried, God would surely bring me out. This song was birthed in the city of Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria.
