About Me

Atasan Imo is a Nigerian gospel musician, singer, songwriter, producer, and worshiper from Akwa Ibom State. He was born into a Christian family as the son of Late Rev. N. E. Udo and Deaconess Nancy N. E. Udo. Growing up in a pastor’s home, his love for music started early.

At the age of 10, he joined an adult classical choir as an alto singer, showing great talent and passion. Inspired by his elder brothers, he later learned to play the piano and guitar, skills that became part of his musical journey.

His career began in Plateau State, Nigeria, where he worked as a music director and teacher. There, he founded a music school first called Kiddies Music World, which has now grown into Soul Sound Empire.

After moving to Abuja, the nation’s capital, Atasan Imo continued as a music director and instrumental coach while also pursuing his personal music career. In 2013, he released his first album, Down On My Knees, and has since recorded several singles that express his passion for worship and his dedication to sharing the gospel through music.
